Success in live commerce often hinges on the short moments when customers recognize the value of a product. These brief but crucial instances can be the deciding factor that leads to a purchase. While many live commerce operators put significant effort into highlighting these moments during a broadcast, once the live stream ends, it can be difficult for customers to easily revisit these key moments.
To solve this issue, Shoplive has introduced the Highlight Clips feature. This feature automatically captures the highlights of your live broadcast and creates short clips. Even after the broadcast has ended, customers can easily rewatch these key moments, keeping their interest alive and encouraging purchases after the live session is over.
In this post, we will explore how Highlight Clips can boost the impact of your live commerce and share tips on maximizing the potential of this exciting new feature.
The Highlight Clips feature enables you to effortlessly create short, impactful videos from key moments of your live broadcast - even after the stream has ended. These shortform videos are optimized for social media marketing and various digital advertising formats, allowing you to reach a broader audience and capture customer interest more effectively.
Live commerce broadcasts are often lengthy, making it easy for replay viewers to lose focus. The Highlight Clips feature solves this issue by automatically showcasing only the most important segments during replays. This helps customers quickly find key moments, increasing engagement and encouraging them to spend more time on replays. As a result, you can deliver crucial product information more effectively and maintain viewer interest even after the live session has ended.
1. Setting highlight segments during live broadcast
Set the segments you want to highlight during the live broadcast. Highlight clips are automatically generated based on the ON/OFF points set through the NOW feature in Shoplive Admin’s Campaign > Console > Products. The NOW feature allows you to easily choose the moments where your product shines.
2. Editing clips and creating shortform videos
Create short, impactful videos from your edited highlight clips. With secondary editing, you can fine-tune specific segments to capture only the most essential moments. The final edited version will help attract more customer attention and effectively showcase your product.
3. Enabling the Clips mode
By enabling Clips mode on Replay, customers can watch only the key product introduction segments in sequence, without having to replay the entire live broadcast. This allows them to focus on the most important clips and products, significantly increasing conversion rates.
Shoplive’s Highlight Clips feature captures the key moments of live commerce broadcasts, ensuring that no important moments are missed. It is a powerful tool that allows you to leverage these highlights effectively. Customers can easily discover the segments where the product is spotlighted, ultimately leading to higher product sales.
